Operation: Saratoga Christmas 2007- The Giving Circle friends “adopted” eleven Saratoga families for the holidays from the Franklin Community Center’s “Project Lift”.  Gifts included gift cards, children’s clothing, toys, and food items. In addition, the Klapp family received donations to purchase a special shower wheelchair for their two disabled sons.

First Night Saratoga 2008 - The Giving Circle volunteers again manned a display table in The Downtowner’s parking lot selling hot cider and distributing information about TGC and some of its planned projects. Special Thanks to Mary Cae Asay for use of the parking lot, and to Price Chopper and Hannaford for donations of the cider.

Home rebuilding Project - March Revisit to Waveland-Bay St. Louis – Mark Bertrand is putting together a team of volunteers to help finish Al Showers’ home and frame a new home for a Waveland family.  Contact Mark by e-mail mark@thegivingcircle.org  or phone: home 518-584-0983 cell 518-727-8960 with any questions.

Second Annual Saratoga Mardi Gras – The event is scheduled for Sunday, April 27, 2008.  Plans include a parade, restaurant participation, music, and fun for all ages!
