Once again a special thank you to Fingerpaint Marketing for setting up a big box to collect new underwear and socks of all sizes for our Ugandan boys and girls from both our schools and villages. The box is located at Fingerpaint’s office on Broadway in Saratoga.
We will also (if room allows) be looking to bring supplies to the Mutai, who are residents of a MOST poor grouping of huts outside Kagoma Gate. You may remember that an outreach clinic we offered there this winter saved the lives of two old women (see some photos below). The team will return to check on them both and bring some supplies such as dresses and shorts. And, if enough socks and underwear are donated, we hope to deliver some “sweeties” for the kids living there.
You can drop items off at Fingerpaint’s main desk for the next two weeks (that is until June 14th) Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. We’re hoping to collect new or VERY gently used underwear for all, but just NEW children’s underwear and socks of all sizes for boys and girls. These necessities are MOST needed and welcome.
Oh, and did we say, “Thank you Fingerpaint and Bo Sig”?
