Celebrating Compassion

Our biggest event of the year is right around the corner!

Online registration is closed. A lmited number of tickets will be available at the door.

Along with Honorary Co-Chairs Ed and Lisa Mitzen from Business For Good, we are thrilled to be honoring founders Mark and Kelly Bertrand. The Giving Circle (TGC) was created in 2005 through the humanitarian spirit and vision of the Bertrands. A few years later, The Giving Circle Africa (TGCA) was established in Uganda. As Mark and Kelly have recently retired from their tireless leadership of TGC/TGCA, we believe it is fitting to honor them with the Ultimate Compassion Award. Inspired by their selfless acts of compassion, The Giving Circle has continued to alleviate human suffering and provide friendship and hope to individuals, families, and communities in need. We hope you will join in our ever-expanding circle of giving on Thursday, March 30th, 2023 at the Canfield Casino 6:30 -9:30 pm. Your participation will help raise critical funds to continue the work of The Giving Circle locally, nationally, and around the world.

Senior Fall CleanUp

Saturday October 29

Leaves are falling and Halloween is just around the corner and that means it’s time for Senior Fall Clean-ups.

The Giving Circle is once again partnering with the Saratoga Senior Center on October 29th to do yard clean up for homebound seniors. We need lots of volunteers.

Can you get a volunteer group together to tackle one senior’s yard clean up 10/29? This could be a great activity for: Your family… your friends… your children’s friends… co-workers…your religious organization… The more the merrier to lighten the load but 2 people per group should do.

Would you like to help but don’t have a group? We need you too! Let me know and I will find you one on a day that works for you.

Send an email at merleoconnor24@gmail.com and she will send you a senior’s address and other details.

Thank you so much for your support. This is incredibly helpful to our senior friends and they are always very appreciative. It really is a rewarding experience for all involved!
